The poster shot, Africa's biggest mammal and biggest Mountain. Would have been nice to get more snow on the peak.

Some young giraffes practice fighting. I came across this group less then one minute from my camp. I barely had time to shot and only managed to get the one frame before they stopped. Out of all my safaris this is the only group of 3 I've seen entangled like this, mostly its just 2 males...
I dont post too many zebra images from my safaris as im more focused with heading to see the big cats. However, sometimes I come across an interesting composition thats worth a frame or two and make a point to stop.

A leopard comes through the bushes and straight to me before walking off. Only managed a couple of head on shots before it turned away

Managed to get a nice angle on this lioness. A few distracting elements but it still takes me back to the moment.

This chap was quite happy to offer a ride in exchange for some free tick removal by the ox pickers. They do however also up wounds which isnt such a good thing.
I got a few shots with the birds in flight as well, could have done with a brighter day had to push the iso.

Going through my old giraffe safari files and came across this one with a mum and daughter. Quite happy with the angle and lighting which is often an issue with giraffe portraits.

I noticed a lot of commotion within the group. Fights kept on braking out started by one elephant. You will notice it trunk is damaged, it actually leaks quite a bit and must be causing major pain which likely translated into more aggressive behavior hence the fights.

A solo male wondering around the savanna. Don't actually see this too often, he looked quite healthy as well.

I got a few shots of this lion coming through the grass. It ended up being one of my favorite sets even though my first look at the thumbnails they didnt stand out as much as a more formal poses. Its easy to see how lions stay camouflaged amongst the dry grass.

These two would not keep still. I couldn't quite manage to get the right spot to capture them the way I would like (head on for the drinking one) so had to settle for this viewpoint. Such is life in the wild!

Hard to get a shot of these guys as they tend to be quite scared. This one was curious and posed for a while

Stayed with two male lions for a while this is one of the last shots before they disappeared. Tricky one with focusing and the grass, I never use eye detect or subject tracking in scenes like this.
